New prospective costomer calls for fence Quote, 65 feet of wooden privacy fence to be added to his property. There is an existing fence that would need to be torn down of the same size before the new fence would be constructed. How much does the average costomer expect to pay for this fence? many options need to be considered. First and fore most at this point in time, The ground is frozen which makes it twice as hard to aug 10 holes for this fence to be built. Not to say that it can't be done, just to say that it makes it twice as hard. I also have to take into account that the old fence not only needs to be torn down, but also needs to be hauled away at our expense. So after giving A VERY fair price for all services rendered, we were amazed to hear "BOY THATS EXPENSIVE!" I am not sure what this costomer was looking for as far as A price, But I would venture to say, if he had it his way, we would be paying him to build his fence. I think costomers need to take into account that nobody works there keester off in the cold for free, and on that same note, I know for A fact that there alot of other construction companys out there that would have bid this job Three to five hundred dollars more than we did due to the rising cost of over head and materials. I also think that our new prospective costomer will be giving us A call back after recieving A few more bids. Feel free to post any input on this subject, and we will update this thread if we recieve the job.
